BRITTON, Ida Belle - Putnam

Ida B. Britton Rites Thursday Mrs. Ida Belle Britton, life-long resident of Indiana, died at 4:15 o’clock Tuesday afternoon at the home of a sister, Mrs. Jennie Terry in Roachdale. The deceased had been ill two years and her death was attributed to a heart attack. Born March 4, 1873, at Belleville, Ind., Mrs. Britton was the daughter of Henry C. and E. F. Quinton Collins. She was married in 1889 in Putnam county to Omer Britton, who preceded her in death. The deceased was a member of the Presbyterian church. The husband and one son, Guy, preceded her in death. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 o’clock, Thursday afternoon at Chastain parlors in charge of the Rev. Mr. McMullen. Burial will be in the Roachdale Cemetery.  -- Submitted by John Hutchins
